IEP is a leading commercialisation specialist in the UK providing wholesale services to a wide range of customers including garden centres, independent gift stores, wholesalers, multiple retailers, furniture stores, florists and promotion specialists.

Since 2017, IEP’s Sense Aroma brand has evolved from a small section in an independent gift store into a thriving, multi-retailer operating throughout the UK & Ireland. Sensation Creative were commissioned to develop the brand’s packaging, starting with the Sand Picture range.

The work for this project required complete restyling of the original packaging to deliver the messaging more effectively.

Alongside the design work, image retouching was carried out and production ready artwork created. Here we see examples of the work with visuals of the packaging.

A new, easy to read typeface was introduced for the packaging. This appears in a neutral grey that works well with the various product colours and has good contrast.

The logo’s tagline has also been updated to read clearly at small scale. Other industry standard logos that are a legal requirement for the packaging have been re-drawn.

The clean, crisp product focused design style of the packaging moves away from the busy lifestyle designs seen previously.

This approach enables consumers to quickly decode information that appears on the packaging in busy retail environments and helps the products to stand out.
